The Cubs are a mess.
From Chicago Breaking Sports’ inning-by-inning coverage of today’s game:

First Inning
The game ended at 3:21 p.m. when Carlos Quentin hit a three-run home run over the left field wall. Due to the rules of Major League Baseball, however, they will continue to play the final eight innings, even though the chances of the Cubs scoring four runs is a mathematical improbability.
Zambrano came back to the dugout screaming, and the entire Sox dugout was watching him erupt in the dugout. He appeared to be yelling at Lee over something, apparently upset about Juan Pierre’s double down the line. Coincidentally, the one-year anniversary of the Milton Bradley meltdown at the Cell is Saturday.
